I’m Lydell Bell, a visual artist and teaching artist from Greenville, Alabama but based out of Montgomery, Alabama. My work spans mixed media, muralism, anime inspired art, and graphic design, all rooted in storytelling and community impact. I graduated from Greenville High School and later studied Information Technology in Web Design at the University of Phoenix, blending creativity with digital skills. Over the past few years, I’ve contributed to Montgomery’s growing art scene, with murals displayed at Valiant Cross Academy, Chisholm Elementary, Wynton Blount Elementary, MacMillian International Academy, Wonderland Academy, as well as in public spaces across the city through collaborations with fellow artists and many more. I’m also proud to be connected with The King’s Canvas and 21 Dreams. Currently, I teach art at Valiant Cross Academy. Exhibitions I participated or was featured in include Roots & Renaissance at Miles College, BLKFWD Vol 1 & 2 at Alabama State University, and Soul of the South exhibition in Sacramento, California, among many others.
