JONONE
“Art should be alive, spontaneous—just like the people and places that inspire it.” - JonOne.
As a kid growing up in the Bronx at the height of the graffiti movement, JonOne found his first canvas on subway trains in New York City. Immersed in the raw energy of street art, he developed a style that fused graffiti with abstract expressionism—bold, rhythmic, and unconstrained. At 17, Bando, one of the pioneer French graffiti artists, brought JonOne to Paris. There, he refined his craft, transforming from a subway tagger into an internationally celebrated painter whose work now spans murals, galleries, and prestigious collections.
