FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

An Immersive Exhibition Bridging Montgomery and Paris Opens November 20, 2025 at the Kress Building 5:30 p.m.

Montgomery, AL — November 2025 — The Journey of the Conference invites audiences to step inside a living allegory of transformation, unity, and creative reflection. Inspired by the poem The Conference of the Birds and the collaborative mural created by French duo MonkeyBird, the immersive exhibition connects Montgomery’s vibrant arts community with an international dialogue born from the MAP360 Paris artist exchange.

Reimagined in the historic Kress Building, the immersive exhibition unfolds through art, poetry, sound, and reflection — the space representing the journey. Visitors are invited to participate through interactive art experiences and Mindful Meta Art programming.
This exhibition celebrates the Montgomery artists who contributed to the creative process through workshops and the Montgomery artist whose works were exhibited in Paris, alongside the literary artists whose words and performances gave voice to earlier immersive experience. Together, their work transforms the space into a dialogue between communities and cultures — where art becomes both bridge and mirror.

“The Journey of the Conference reminds us that art is restoration — healing, challenging, and bridging the unseen spaces between people and places. Transformation is not solitary; it’s something we do together,” said Creative Director Alana Taylor-Francis (Alana Enfinity) of Mindful Meta Art, LLC, who collaborated with MAP360 to bring the vision to life.

The opening reception will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Kress Building, featuring artists, poets, and collaborators. The exhibition will remain open through December. Admission is free and open to the public.
