Fe(male)

Exhibiton curated by Chintia Kirana

Fe(male) explores the imagery of identity and the politics of memory by creating a language that demolishes shame and presents women as pillars of strength. Merging autobiographical stories, social history, daily life, childhood memories, spiritual endeavors, and dreams as aspirations to illustrate the world, and the female experience through the eyes of selected local and national artists.

The show is as much about celebrating of women as well as celebrating the Arts Community in Montgomery, Alabama. Curator, Chintia Kirana, selected works from multiple Visual Art Organizations and Institutions such as Expose Art House, Marcia Weber Art Objects, 21 Dreams and Culture.
