April Terry

When it comes to my work, I tell people, “Candid shots are always the best shots”. It's the in between moments that can mean the most.
I love Jesus, family, friends, knitting, tennis, and photography. I grew up in an Army family, and now I am an Army wife. My husband and I are raising one son in the rural part of Wetumpka, Alabama. We love Wetumpka. It is where my husband I got married at the courthouse in 2010. I also started my photography business in 2016, and my first paid job was downtown Wetumpka at a boutique. Now we are living here 10 years later, and we couldn’t be happier. I am one of those people that can't be still. Being busy is a normal part of my life, and it can translate through my photography by capturing movement. I picked up my father’s film camera around 1999, and I haven’t put the camera down since. I have worked with many photographers and clients. My work has been in magazines, and on billboards, but the place I want my photos the most are in the precious homes of the people in front of the lens.
